After months of deliberation, we have finally arrived at the new business identity...

Tell what you think!

Perhaps, I am anxious for winter to have completed its cycle. But, I am certainly making mental progress with respect to early season projects. In this photo, you will obviously make note of the apparent weed dominance. The 'white birch' hardwoods should be the primary focus in this garden landscape; however, neglect (and weed seed dominance) has consumed the soils. We intend to begin this project in early to mid May ~ so stay tuned. I will attempt to renovate the garden by performing selective pruning maintenance on the 'birch'; eliminating and/or controlling the weed seed; edging; driveway repair. Also, I will work with the client to decide on plant selection for this site.

The New Lawn

Although this photo does not speak for itself, it is in fact a newly installed lawn ~ only 6 weeks post install.  The process was rather arduous.  Using a sod cutter, we removed nearly 3000 sq. feet of kentucky bluegrass sod (which does not perform well in shady areas) and installed several yards of premium 50/25/25 topsoil.compost.sand mix and a shade tolerant seed blend.  I might still be sore from the sod removal process.  But, the seeing the finished product is certainly worth the inherent difficulty.

Perhaps, the new logo?

...I am experimenting with different logos as each captures its own audience (perhaps, client base). I am only showing you the logo, and business identification; there will be, however, bullets under the logo which will signal the company services. Tell me what you think...

...thus far, one of my most inspiring projects.  In fact, the success of this project has, ultimately, gained the trust of the client, and therefore, led to many more opportunities on the land.  From the lense of the camera, we are able to capture the layering and the texture of the newly installed garden.  I was asked to invite as much color into the garden as  possible, so I chose several perennials some loud, others soft but nonetheless very complimentary.  We are admiring a garden, approximately 400 sq. ft, that was in the summers before maintained by lawn care professionals ~ it was lawn.  In the immediate area behind the photographer, is a small fishing pond.  Beautiful property.  Richmond, MA.

The Wedding Day

What are you willing to do for your bride on her wedding day?  When approached by a wedding planner asking if we could 'install a funky pattern' in the grass, we had to ask ourselves our what we were willing to do for somebody else's bride on her wedding day.  We had this entire site available.  And, the client had $X amount of dollars for the cause.  We began  the arduous process of 'managing the turf' in such a way that we were able to create the image used as the background in the photo above.  Holy Matrimony...  it took almost twenty hours to design and build our masterpiece.
